The Youth Arts Council (YAC) was formed
January 2009. It's members are local Pass area youth ages
13 to 18 that help plan and create fun opportunities in the
arts, participate in numerous events throughout the Pass and
learn and develop leadership skills for today and tomorrow.
YAC is about having fun!
No child is ever turned away
for inability to pay.
Programs
Monday
- 2:30 to 3:30pm~ Youth meet and greet
- 3:30 to 4:30pm ~ YAC Meeting ~ ages13 to 19
- 4:45 to 6:00pm ~ Vocal Club ~ all ages
- 6:00 to 6:45pm ~ Stage Practice ~ all ages
Wednesdays
- Library Arts and Crafts ~ first and third Wednesday of each month 1 to 3pm at the Banning Library, 21 W Nicolet
Thursdays
- 3:30 to 4:30pm Top Ten Junior ~ age 12 and under New this Year!
- 4:00 to 5:30pm Top Ten The Next Level ~ Ages 13 to 19
- 5:30 to 7:30pm Top Ten The Next Level performance ~ all ages are welcome to come and watch the teens and sometimes Top Ten Junior perform.
Additional programs as scheduled.
Do you have what it takes? If so audition for Top Ten. Top Ten is a group of talented teens that perform throughout the Pass area and at their own weekly venue. It is not a class it is a chance for local youth to express and share their talents.
Wanted Dancers,Singers, Instrumentalist, Poets, Comedians
Auditions are simple call Ms. Watson (951) 807-7515 and stop by and share your talent. It soes not have to be perfect but if for example you are a singer you must perform an entire song on key.
